TERMS & CONDITIONS

1 QUOTATIONS, RATES AND CHARGES
1.1 All prices are in GBP.
1.2 A2B offices are open 0700-2200. The operation contact number is +44 1892670039 / +44 (0)7803 410075
1.3 All quotations are valid for 30 days and include Airport meet and greet, *waiting period, *parking or tolls. Gratuities are at the Customer’s discretion.

 

2 PICK-UP RULES
Airport Transfer (*Updated and applied for quotations / booking confirmations issued since 16th April, 2021)

Free Meet & Greet
2.1 A2B does not apply any charges for flight delays. For all airport pick-ups, we track the flight status from the Airport and adjust the actual pick-up time accordingly. This is to ensure that the driver is in the arrivals hall at the appropriate time and passengers do not have to pay additional cost due to flight delay.

2.2 We offer a 60 minutes FREE *waiting period after the actual landing time. Our driver will be waiting for you in the arrival hall with an “Airport Pick-ups” name board with your name on it. Once you meet the driver, he will then accompany you to the vehicle.

2.3 If the passenger requires a specific pick-up time, we will also offer a 60 minutes FREE *waiting period since the pick-up time.

For example, a passenger has requested the pick-up time to be 60 minutes after the actual landing time. If the flight lands at 10am, our driver will be ready to pick up the passenger since 11:30am and will wait at the arrival hall until 1pm without any additional waiting charge and car park fee.

2.4 In either case, if you realise that you will not be able to meet the driver on time, please contact us as soon as possible, so that we can try hold the driver outside of the airport car park with a *waiting charge. The car park fee will be the actual amount payable for the transfer service on the arrival day. 

2.5 If you cannot locate our driver and seek an alternative method of transport without first contacting A2B to try and resolve the situation, this will be regarded as NO-SHOW and you will be charged a £10 administration fee.

Point-to-Point Transfer

2.6 We allow a 10 minutes FREE waiting time at address pick-ups, after this time, a waiting charge* will incur.

 

3 ADDITIONAL CHARGES
3.1 *Waiting Charge (*Updated and applied for quotations / booking confirmations issued since 16th April, 2021)

We allow a 60 minutes FREE waiting period for airport transfer and 10 minutes FREE waiting period for point-to-point transfer services. After this time, an additional charge of £5.00 for every 15 minutes will incur.

3.2 *Car Park Charge (*Updated and applied for quotations / booking confirmations issued since 16th April, 2021)

The car park fee will be the actual amount payable for the transfer service on the arrival day. For airport transfer, and the first 60 minutes (starting from the actual landing time) of car park fee will be included in the transfer service fare.

3.3 Luggage Charge

Each passenger can carry two pieces of 30-inches luggages. Any additional or oversized luggages will be charged £5 each additionally at driver discretion and consent. Please be noted that a baby stroller also counts as one luggage.

3.4 Additional / Different Stop Charge

A2B reserves the right to charge extra if a customer wants to take a different route or add additional stops as agreed. A reference of the extra charge will be £5 for the first 3 miles and then £1.50 per mile. 

3.5 Pet Charge

PETS are allowed in our certain vehicles so please notify us in advance. Pets must travel within a safe cage or secure safety leash/ harness while in the vehicle. An additional cleaning fee of £20 will incur. 

3.6 Valeting Charge

A2B will charge a vehicle valeting fee of £20-£50 for any damage to their vehicle made by a customer (e.g. vomiting, spilling liquid or food to the vehicle).

 

4 GENERAL TERMS
4.1 A2B cannot be held responsible for any late arrival to destination, airport or cruise port. Hence we will not accept any responsibility for missed flights or ships.

4.2 A2B shall be under no liability to the Customer whatsoever for any indirect loss and/or expense (including loss of profit) suffered by the Customer arising out of a breach by the Company of these terms and conditions.

4.3 In the event of any claim against A2B arising out of its performance of hire, the Company’s liability shall be limited to a refund not exceeding the cost of the journey. Any other payments will be entirely at the discretion of the Company.

4.4 A2B accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to property, however such loss or damage may be caused. In the event of property being left in a vehicle, we will gladly organise the return of such items if you cover the postage and packaging costs.

4.5 All our vehicles are non-smoking.

4.6 A2B reserves the right to refuse to transport any passenger who behaves in a disorderly, threatening or abusive manner.

 

5 FREE CHILD SEATS
5.1 A2B will provide up to 2 child seats free of charge, for peace of mind guarantee, as by law private hire vehicles are exempt from this law. If the driver doesn’t provide the correct child car seat, children can travel without one –
but only if they travel on a rear seat:

and wear an adult seat belt if they’re 3 or older,
without a seat belt if they’re under 3. 

A child can travel without a child car seat in taxis and private hire vehicles.


6 BOOKING CHANGE / CANCELLATION CHARGES
6.1 FREE cancellation if the change / cancellation is made more than 36 hours before the transfer time. 

6.2 Any change / cancellation made within 36 hours will be charged a £10 administration fee.

6.3 NO-SHOW will also be regarded as cancellation made within 36 hours, and hence a £10 administration fee will be charged. Waiting times and pickup rules are listed on clause 2 of this Terms and Conditions. 

 

7 PAYMENTS
7.1 A2B accepts Cash, Credit Card, Bank Transfer & PayPal  as a means of payment. 

7.2 Payments are secure: A2B does not store in any way your credit card details. Payments will be using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Credit card numbers are protected with a high level of encryption when transmitted over the Internet.

Credit Card slips will show “Private Hire Service” as the merchant name.
