  • A2B a licensed Private Hire Operator?
    Yes, we are fully licensed by the Wealden District Council in East Sussex, UK
  • Are your drivers and vehicles fully insured?
    Yes, all our drivers and vehicles are fully insured and regulated by the Wealden District Council. All our drivers have Dual Driver Licences and personal identity numbers which can be checked and verified on the Wealden District Council website for legitimacy.
  • Any insurance? 
    A2B ensures that all of the drivers and vehicles used for our transfer service are comprehensively covered by insurance.
  • What will happen if our flight gets delayed?
    You don’t have to worry about this at all as we do not charge additionally due to flight delays! We monitor all incoming flights. No matter how delayed your flight is, or how early it arrives, our driver will be waiting for you at the arrival hall with an airport board with your name on. If customers do not specify, the driver will be waiting at the arrival hall 60 minutes after the flight landing time. (counted since actually landing time). Customers may also arrange a specific pick-up time that is most suitable for them. After this time, an additional charge of £5.00 for every 15 minutes will incur. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details.
  • Are children classed as passengers?
    Yes, as for insurance purposes a child is classed as one passenger.
  • Does my child need a car seat?
    According to UK law, children can travel without a car seat on a private hire vehicle – but only if they travel on a rear seat, and wear an adult seat belt if they’re 3 or older or without a seat belt if they’re under 3. However, if our customers find it necessary to use a car seat, we are more than happy to provide one if prior notification.
  • Can I take private hire service during the national lockdown?
    According to the current regulations, buying, selling, letting or renting a residential property are essential activities that can be exempted from the stay home regulation. But once arrived at the accommodation, a 10 days self-isolation period must be observed. Our private hire services are also allowed to operate as usual. Most importantly, our fleets and drivers would follow the government guidance and do all means to ensure a hygiene and safe journey for all our passengers.
  • Can I take my pet with me?
    Yes, we can arrange a pet-friendly vehicle for you. Just notice us during reservation so that our driver can prepare in advance. We also offer pets immigration services, please contact us from more details and get a quote.
  • Is there any car park charge for airport transfer service? 
    The car park fee will be the actual amount payable for the transfer service on the arrival day. For airport transfer, our driver will enter the car park 10 minutes before the actual pick up time.

  • Do I need a deposit?
    We do not take deposits. Just confirm the booking with us and show up. Our driver would always be there on time!
  • How do I pay for my journey?
    We accept both payment on spot with credit card or cash; or prepayment by bank transfer or Paypal. Please be noted that we do not take compulsory deposit but welcome our customers to pay in advance.
